How she moves Running, skiing and anything the fitness PR industry throws at me! I run the 4 miles home from the Women’s Health office whenever I don’t have evening plans – usually around 3 times a week. I also try to fit in a long run along Regent’s Canal at the weekend and NEVER regret it. I need the fresh air and time away from my iphone! I also throw in a mix of gym classes – Body Pump, Pilates, Yoga and whatever I’m working on for our Gym Spy blog ( I will try anything once. Fitness PRs: try me! I also love skiing. I’m not fast but I love challenging myself off-piste, exploring some of the world’s most beautiful settings and refuelling with CHEESE.

Favourite pair of kicks/trainers and why I’m torn between my Nike Lunarglides and Mizuno Wave Nirvanas. Black with a flash of neon pink, the Nikes are cool enough to stand up with a ‘civilian’ outfit. But for long runs, it’s got to be the Mizunos – I like my kicks super-light, bouncy and hugging my narrow feet and these fit the bill.

Favourite piece of kit and why I have a pink Nike vest with a subtle leopard print (well, as subtle as leopard print gets). It pulls even the simplest black workout gear up a level. Oh and it’s breathable, wicking and figure-flattering, natch.

Favourite active wear brand and why I am a print addict so I’ve been thrilled to see workout wear get so jazzy! I love Sweaty Betty (hello galaxy print), Nike and cheesy slogan vests from Lorna Jane. My parents used to buy them for me when they lived in Australia and it’s great they’re on sale here now. H&M also really punch above their weight for gym gear – that’s my ‘end of the month, just before payday’ option!
