I don’t about you but money is tight these days and as much as I want to keep it ‘swag’ with my fitwear the bills have to come first. When it comes to buying my clothes for my workout wardrobe I am not about being snobbish about where it comes from – if it looks stylish, has some function and is affordable I can work with that. When I found out that supermarket Asda now features active wear as part of its George at Asda range well I had to check out whilst doing my weekly food shop and ladies it’s actually quite nice.
I’ll be honest if you are looking for quirky, sports luxe pieces with crazy performance technology in them then this aint the collection for you. What you will get, is some affordable basics that, when mixed with the right pieces, can create a nice little outfit that looks stylish and that you won’t have to get a second mortgage out to pay for. My favourite pieces are this gold and black crop and the gold sparkle vest (£6 and £8) respectively which I think would jazz up any dull gym outfit even if you just wore them with a plain pair of black leggings. The collection is large too and with most pieces coming in at well under £50 I am pretty sure that most people will struggle not to find something they like.
